Labor law-calling ID?
My employer told me that they are collecting census data for a presentation of the government and we want all employees to give them a copy of your drivers license or state ID (California). Is this legal? Can not I give you my current address? I do not feel comfortable just passed copies of my drivers license with my birth date and license number on it.
Your employer should have your address, date of birth and social security number on file … if they wanted to do some damage, I think, they already have all the information they need. Many employers look at credit reports Outputs as part of a hiring decision and it's legal.
Don’t Fillout The 2010 census
