california unemployment veterans

Are we heading towards a depression?
I think so because according to the timeline of the Great Depression which were in 3% unemployment in 1929 and 1933 37% were unemployed. Unemployment is nearly 11% in California and rising. I'm waiting to see the new type of being released April 17. I hate to be pessimistic, but I am a veteran unemployed for nearly 7 months.
You have to be in an unemployment rate more than 10% for three quarters or more. You have to look at indicators cheap to see if there is a real decline. These things may not seem so far but this is no way that qualifies us into a depression. I do not think it ever come to that.
