Can you apply for SSI while receiving unemployment?

I applied for SSI in 2006 shortly after he was given an extension of my unemployment insurance I asked the girl if she could pick up if you applied for SSI. She akeda if I was receiving a disability check and I told him I refused and asked me. She said it was okay to get unemployment to the Department of Social Security reconize my disability, because until they did not really considered disabled. Well, Finally after two and a half years gave me the SSI, but again overlaps with the payment of unemployment for two months. Now I worry because I do not want to be accused of fraud both for collection. I have collected unemployment of about six months. At the time I did but I was working four hours a week when I said it is technically possible that could work I was working. Now they want the information as to what money I had to come from the date of SSI awards. David M if there please reply

If unemployment and SSI retroactive payment of overlap at 2 months, you will have to pay two months of unemployment again. You can not pay twice for the same period of time. You will not be charged with fraud.
