Does the employer must provide a former employee with a copy of your records (in Ontario, Canada)?
If a former employee wants a copy of H / R file, we have to do it? It would be a legislated provincial company on the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
It is the employer's property, and remains, unless subpeonas by the courts for their release. More easily, may be required to allow for a copy of the file, but not likely take or copy it.
