employment europe
How can one find American fluent in French, work w / w a U.S. company / Branches in Europe?

I know it's best way for an American to get a job "there." Marriage or French ancestors are not in my past or future. I also know that it is harder than hell to find a job in Europe as a non-EU citizen. I speak French very well (I have my MA), have studied and taught in France by short-term contract. The problem is that I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how the hell to get a job there. It need not be specifically France – Belgium, Ireland, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Spain … anywhere in western Europe'll do! Can anyone think of any employment opportunity for get a good Europhile to Europe? I have taught in high school, university and not for profit (the grant-writing) expereince. How I can transfer these skills to the business world and U.S. companies that are good I check in?

You should also consider a back door to get there to find a French company that needs of people in the U.S. or Canada, then, when there is a possibility of transfer, go for it.
