Pre-employment drug testing, taking too long?
I applied at Sears last week (Monday) and was quite engaged in the field. I filled tax information and all, and require a drug test on Tuesday. It is now Monday and still have not received a call, although the manager said he would receive a call last Friday. I do not do any drugs unless Listerine mouthwash or Monster Energy Drinks account, so he doubted that the test results were positive. Could the weekend of Easter vacation or the fact that the specimen was sent to a lab in Kansas (I live in Virginia) has nothing to do with this? Or have found someone else and did not bother to call?
If the sample is sent out on Wednesday even if overnighter to Kansas had been there yesterday afternoon. And they probably were closed on Friday (Good Friday) Closed Saturday and Sunday. Open Monday will be sending a mail the answer probably Today (Monday) and should be receiving a call that bet Tomarrow. Sears has a time.
