The Truth about Employment Agenices?
Do Employment or job Agencies work? My experience with these so called agencies has been absolutely negative. I have gone to many a job placement agencies and they all have worked 0 % to find me a job. Here’s the run down on these establishments: First, they tell you to come in and take an assessment test to see what your skills are. So you go and take the test which will last about an hour & half to 2 hours depending how quick you are. Second, you’ll then meet with a staff member who will ask you about what your looking for and what you will accept. Then they’ll ask you about your job history. Then they’ll say something to fact that they have a company that’s looking for someone with your qualifications and that they’ll be in touch. Most of the times you’ll never hear from them again. So why r they around? Now, it’s not to say all employment agencies are like this. You may find a few that will actually do the footwork and genuinely try to get you a job, but the mass majority won’t.
