invalid Social security???
I just became a permanent resident and got my social security on June 12th. I’ve been getting a invalid SSN message everytime I use my social security for anything…. I tried tor egister online with selective service and it said that my number was invalid and it didnt appear in the database, I tried updating my bright futures scholarship application with my socials ecurity number and it says theres an Error SSN invalid and its not on database. I just applied for a job at sports authority and got a letter back from GIS Employment background reporting saying Invalid SSN… “Social Security XXX-XX-XXXX” is invalid according to the most recent SSA information release, however, the group as been indetified for “Florida” and may be included in future monthly SSA updates.
I called Social security today and the lady didnt help out at all and just said my info on their screeen looks fine.
So anybody had this problem before?? how long until my Social finally appears on these databases???
it can take a while for ss to update everyone elses system. your problems should be over by 8-1-08
