Violation of privacy? Employment / question office gossip?
I requested a paper in an office, only 10 hours of support. I was offered the role, but finally could not take it. My other half works in this office (a person knows the link), and a staff member near the manager approached him and said the director I had called several names and has sent me a letter rude (not true – it was just a message that has yet to need my services, but rejected them!) I angry because I know that people of all office gossip, but nevertheless, human resource issues should be private, and Nevermind being transmitted to the various departments, until my own boyfriend is told this information. I am concerned because I also have my resume and a lot of information about me and I hate it being sent around. What can I do? They complain?
You can complain directly to the manager, but I advise against it … changes gossip of the office faster Superman in a phone booth: ya, this little tale about you would have forgotten why the flames fan? I doubt that all departments were talking you, and I think it highly unlikely that information on your CV will be posted around. The person in question probably realized that would not be working there (you said s / he is close to the manager), and tried to have a dig astute in her boyfriend about it. Some people are malicious as well. Complain however, will create gossip, and possibly make things uncomfortable for her boyfriend. You really want that? Please, forget it and focus on having a nice Christmas, because I am sure that's what your boyfriend coworkers are doing. Merry Christmas.
