employment united nations
I am disturbed by this test, what I can do?

I am a 35-year Afro-Austrian and I live with my wife and son in Vienna, my dream is to work Nations Office in Vienna, I learned that this is one way I could get a job in the organization. The only thing I have to call me the Degree Science in Economics, who gave me Nigeria [-Enugu State University of Science and Technology] to be precise. I also learned during my six years in Europe that certificates received from any university in Africa, particularly Nigeria, it could lead to a career status in Austria or in some important European country please advice on what to do.

I regret to say this, but your problem is not unique – there are many immigrants in other countries face similar obstacles. In Canada, many doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, etc. to immigrate here with foreign degrees are not recognized in North America. Those with time and money, instead of driving taxis or working in restaurants, continue their education in U.S. or Canadian schools and universities in order to be accepted. Or, eventually some just leave in frustration. My only advice to you is that you will need to continue their education in Austria. I wish you luck. Petra M, Vancouver
