Library Science Degree?

What is a school at a reasonable price for a bachelor of science in the library that has a good name in the field? Is there anyone here with experience? I do not want to be completely focused on the cost of tuition, however, I am limited to about 12-13,000 per year. My main concern is a school with a good reputation in library science when I'm looking for employment. Ideally, it would be in Illinois.

When you check your options, plan a visit to the office financial aid from the university to find out what is available. On-or off-campus employment may also be a possibility for you. I note that University of Illinois has consistently ranked at or near the top of lists of the best library programs in the country. Another senior program: University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. My Classification data comes from the U.S. News & World Report ratings of colleges. Since you are a resident of Illinois, a look at Champaign-Urbana, it would a good place to begin your search. More education is not cheap!
