importance of soft skills in software engineering?
In the recent McKinsey survey of 2005 executives in India are the low availability of talent as the greatest constraint to future growth of its software companies in India respondents said 80.7% of U.S. engineers would employment, compared with only 10% of Chinese engineers and 25% of Indian engineers. The main concern would be the difference between examinations of universities and the IT skills that industry requires. The tests are not aligned to assist the student in the industry .- Both the technical aspects, as well as soft skills and presentation. presentation skills are extremely important, as the Indian IT industry is more of the services product development. When you have services, you should present your skills to potential clients, which can be native speakers of English. Therefore, it is imperative that soft skills given much importance. A further aspect to the increasing gap (only 25% for employment) is the insufficient teaching staff. The staff just does not have an idea of what they teach.
