Can you name some good employment agencies in the Los Angeles, CA area that focus on computer programmers?
I’m not talking about an agency that places IT professionals. I mean an agency that places computer programmer professionals (engineers) who know high-level programming languages. The agency should understand well a programmer’s skills. It should be one that is known and respected in the Los Angeles, CA area. The good agencies also provide benefits to the people they place, such as direct deposit, holiday pay, and online timecards. The good agencies might also offer medical benefits, FSAs, 401(k) to those that contract long term.

I am a sales person in the IT contracting field. Using the term ” IT professionals” is a real broad statement that means from help desk all the way up to IT Security architects and Sr. Level Engineer/Developers. We place contract, contract to hire and perm placement anyone that has to do with computing. Most agencies that offer real jobs are legitimate sources that provide or can provide full benefits including holiday pay, 401k plan, medical/dental etc. BUT most consultants prefer to get the most for their wage and fore go a salary with benefits for straight hourly pay.
