I collect unemployment in Ohio. Do I have to pay state tax on that income when I file?
Yes, it is income. The first $ 2,400.00 is exempt or simply resigned, however. Always pay tax unless you choose to have the imposition of unemployment before they get it, that way a return to a refund. The Obama administration has launched this new tax cuts this year. (Part exempt)
