Job prospects in Maine.?

Can anyone help me find out what the job prospects in Maine is like for the next 5-10 years? If your list sources. Bonus if the page (s) are views of the city / county. I am interested in knowing what jobs there will be plenty of, for filling, and that will pay better not be bad either. (I want to stay in Maine, but I'm not sure what that big, for my degree) Speaking of which, no matter how little I or how much education is required for employment. Give me all you can find. Anything you might find interesting to share, please do so. Thank you. PS: You really do not know what category to put this question in.

I live in Biddeford but work in Portland and am in the same boat, because I'm looking for work preferably in my career area which will last me about 2 years before returning to California. The problem is, nothing is available. I found some things that can help. An article reported that an estimated 41 percent of employment growth in Maine between 2004-2008 will be the education and health services. Leisure and hospitality employment will make it a 22 per cent of new jobs, employment and professional services account for 16 percent of employment growth. Decrease in job will be manufacturing. You should also look at business and go to www.maine.gov and click the labor markets. There you will find all kinds of things that can help. Remember, in order to learn the job outlook is also necessary to know what the economy will do, and that page should point out in the right direction. I also have 1 file pdf that I had to use for a recent class. He talks about the employment situation in 2002 and what the situation is projected in 2012. It gives some sense of where we were and where we are going as far as the picture is. I can email you if you wish. Click click my profile and my e-mail or IM me. Good luck and let me know what you find!
