unemployment extension california 4th
Is there a 3rd or 4th unemployment extension in California?
Ive heard mixed answers, Ive just ended my 2nd extension and have heard that a third extension was just approved for 20 weeks or so, and others are saying it was a 4th extension that was just passed in congress. Has anyone in California received their 3rd or 4th extensions?
If you can’t reach EDD-and, believe me-few can get through. Go on line and file a new claim. I had to do that for my 2nd ext. I thought they automatically filed it for you-NO, they don’t and they didn’t advise me, either. I just got an email telling me to refile, after I went on line and asked them what happened-my checks just stopped-no explanation-nothing. So, I’d refile just to be sure you don’t miss out. I don’t think you can hurt yourself by reapplying as if a new claim. Best Wishes to you. EDD is a big mess and very unhelpful-can’t reach them!
