Will there be another Federal Unemployment Extension Ed the Federal Reserve expires?
I live in California. In early May, adding an additional 20 weeks of benefits. For me, ending in early September. Until now, job hunting sucks. Will there be benefits after 20 weeks expires?
There is nothing pending at this time. Congress may again look like the original extensions begin to expire in a couple of months. My gut says that the other extension is likely, but as in all things with Congress, there's nothing for granted until it has been promulgated by the President. Note that job search must be a full time job in and of itself. I know, it's crap, I did a section on unemployment myself. However, hitting the pavement and the keyboard to close 50 hours per week got results and I'm back at work now. Good luck in your search!
