Is there a government program that provides financial assistance?
I've been unemployed for 10 months and my unemployment insurance has run out. My credit cards are at their peak, I can not get a loan and have had no luck finding work. (And if the interviews I have looked, have, have registered with agencies employment). I just applied for food stamps, but I'm about to become homeless.
Contact the United Way agencies in their community to explain their situation. They will know social services and government agencies can turn for assistance with housing, food, employment, counseling and support, United Way etc. an impressive agency … worth a phone call, right?
