unemployment appeal referee decision reversed?
i was denied unemployment and i appealed. at the hearing my employer did not show up . i checked the status of my case online and it says that the referee’s decision was reversed does this mean i won and if so how long until i recieve my benefits?
Yes, it does mean that you in fact won, however, the employer is given a letter stating that they did not show for the appeal and may be given anther chance to fight the claim.
You should receive the benefits the next time you are schedule to phone in for unemployment.
