Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the events happening in the world right now?
Mumbai, rising unemployment, the world wide recession, cholera outbreaks in Zimbabwe, civil unrest in China … Do you think it will get better, or worse everyone?
I do not know if we look at history, there has always been horrible specific events (wars, pestilence, famine, violence to women and children). But if a step back and look at the big picture, the world has gradually been improving in general (human rights, medicine, education, scientific advancement, etc.) So I guess I'm an optimist, things will improve.
