Unemployment percentage rises in Livingston County
Unemployment statistics for Illinois were released this week for the month of February and Livingston County’s unemployment has increased almost 4 percentage points from where it was one year ago. This year, Livingston has a 13.8 percent rate of unemployment to place it at 35th in the state. In February 2009, the unemployment rate for the county was at 10 percent and it was ranked at 45th.
