unemployment tax deductions 2009
Are all unemployment benefits in 2009 to be tax free not only frequently mentioned deduction of $ 2400?

I read about a new bill that calls for all unemployment in 2009 to be tax free to the unemployed called STUB Tax Freedom Act. I have to wait before submitting to see if is because all income is unemployment and not withhold my control. Thanks

Yes, I've heard of LUTS jobless Free 2009 Tax Act and could only be pass. The new bill of law reform will make the overall unemployment collected in 2009 tax free not only the current law deduction of $ 2400. Many would expected to consider before submitting to see if a bill passes or perhaps because most of its income comes from unemployment compensation. Plus you have until April 15 2010 to make a decision. Especially if you do not retain their control and are long term, then most likely have a responsibility IRS. The launch site is called mad unemployment and can check for updates legislation. The bill changer is great if you drew a lot of benefits. I know because I too am in the same boat and have to face the music from the IRS.
